Phenotypic Variation Of Village Chicken In Sri Lanka: Interactive
CD ROM
This interactive CD ROM is a result of an attempt made
to assess the diversity exist among village chicken in Sri Lanka. The
study was carried out by a preliminary survey on the phenotypic characteristics
covering all districts of the country except Mulativu and Kilinochchi
districts.
Despite low production efficiency of village chicken under subsistence
farming conditions, the ability of birds to help meet the nutritional
needs of the poorest is immense and if this attempt helps an inch forward
in identifying the value of this farm genetic resource, is considered
being success. Etc.. Etc..
etc.. etc..
